Skipping or rushing either step is where redness becomes prolonged irritation, where residue becomes ingrown hairs, and where a client who might have rebooked decides not to. Pre-Wax Cleanser

Any trace of sebum, makeup residue, or surface contamination on the skin before wax application reduces adhesion between the wax and the hair follicle which means incomplete hair removal, more passes over the same area, and greater post-treatment irritation. The pre-wax cleanser removes all of these in a single, fast application, leaving the skin clean, dry, and fully receptive without stripping its natural barrier or depositing any film that could interfere with wax grip.
